On 2078/09/17, Mrs. Usha Giri, chairwoman of Rikishi Compost and the Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi, visited the residence at Balkot of former Prime Minister, Mr. K.P Sharma Oli of Nepal.
Due to an urgent meeting, Mr. Oli was not available but we had an opportunity to talk to Mrs. Radhika Sakshya popularly known as the spouse of Mr. Oli.
We were taken up to the rooftop of their beautiful home. She showed us her terrace gardening and the different vegetables she has been harvesting. Our Chairwoman, Mrs. Usha Giri did an initial assessment on what types of crops she has been gardening and what type of compost or fertilizer she has been using for the same. We found her proactive not only politically but also domestically. She is a role model and an inspiration of a humble woman despite having the luxury.
