# 9 Day Training on types of Taihi
Rikishi Compost based in Madhyapur Thimi, is continuing with his eight day of training on theme of types of Taihi in Madhyapur Thimi. The trainers Mrs Usha Giri Mr. Milan Giri explaining the candidates what does taihi mean in Japanese and why we use it in our terms.
CNBM technology is a Japanese based technology that emphasizes on quality production of compost. Most of the word we use are in Japanese as well.
Taihi in simple words means compost. Rikishi Compost is involved in a number of compost production like waste compost, red clay compost, dry leaves compost, chicken poo compost, cow dung compost and many more.
This training will enable the candidates to go in different sites of Rikishi Compost and at the same time provide technical assistance to various organizations private and public on waste management techniques using CNBM technology to produce chemical free compost.
People from various diverse backgrounds, including those who have worked with us as factory workers, agricultural technicians and those with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies, are studying to become technicians.
