On 2078/05/17, Thursday, the team of Clean Nepal visited our site in Madyapur Thimi. Clean up Nepal is a for-purpose, non-governmental organization registered in Nepal in 2014 that envisions communities having access to a solid waste management and water, sanitation and hygiene system with the associated knowledge and resources that will enable them to live a healthy, disease-free life. It provides an enabling environment by connecting, educating and empowering local communities and relevant stakeholders through a people-centered, solution-based approach.
During this visit Mr. Koshish K Arjal (Program Co-ordinator), Preety Pradhananga (Program Officer), Diwakar Adhikari (Program Officer) and Rabindra Lamichanne (Program Manager) of Clean Nepal were given a tour of Rikishi Compost site in Madhyapur Thimi.
The final part of the tour concluded with showing the packaged goods of 2kg, 5kg, and 20kg and Bagasu of 2kg block. The benefits of using Rikishi Compost were shared and any questions were answered. As can be used, the guests were happy with the visit. A smile a day with Rikishi Compost will take the doctor away.
