On 2078/05/17, Thursday, the team of Clean Nepal visited our site in Madyapur Thimi. Clean up Nepal is a for-purpose, non-governmental organization registered in Nepal in 2014 that envisions communities having access to a solid waste management and water, sanitation and hygiene system with the associated knowledge and resources that will enable them to live a healthy, disease-free life. It provides an enabling environment by connecting, educating and empowering local communities and relevant stakeholders through a people-centered, solution-based approach.

During this visit Mr. Rabi Rajkarnikar (Managing Director), Amod Karmarcharya (Executive Director), and Sulav Moktan (Director) of Clean Nepal were given a tour of Rikishi Compost site in Madhyapur Thimi.

The exploration of the site started with explaining what Tokozai is and why it is a crucial component in our compost production. At the moment, we collect waste from ward number 4 and 5 of around 5000 households.
